MEET Eugene Farrell
NEW LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR DISTRICT 17
My name is Eugene Farrell and I am a lifelong resident of Rural Illinois. I am a hard working family man as I continue to work a full-time job to support my family while running for office in US Congress in the 17th District. I graduated from high school in 1993 and furthered my education at Black Hawk College majoring in Communications. I was active in the Student Government Association while at Black Hawk College.
Then joined the US Army in October of 2000, proudly served our country in South Korea at the DMZ. Upon my return from South Korea, I continued to serve this great country in the Army National Guard with units in Rock Falls IL and Milan, IL while attending classes at Western IL University in Macomb, IL, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Meteorology. I was elected in 2016 as a Committee Member-man, serving Swan Township in Rural Warren County. I also have been decorated with many awards for my service of training other soldiers and developing training exercises that are still used today.
Creating great jobs for this district is my top priority. I have chosen to use my knowledge and passion to represent the residents of Illinois by running for the 17th Congressional District. A few of the issues that I am passionate about are the right to bear arms, controlling health care costs and keeping education affordable. The People of District 17 deserve to be properly represented. I intend to bring dedication to the office of Congressman, represent all residents equally and bring back federal jobs to 17th District”.
As a US ARMY VETERAN I understand the challenges our Nation faces and I am ready for any task given.
